The third of the SMS Vote Scoring Event will be an interaction/discussion programme with the 11 contestants. Topic: The challenges on The Way Up. The speakers will be personalities within the Ghanaian community; 1. Ms. Doris Vidda - District Manager, SWAZOOM Amsterdam. 2. Ms. Alberta Opoku – Journalist. 3. Ms. Ama Carr - Councillor, Amsterdam Southeast District Council. 4. Ms. Augustina Osei - Councillor, Amsterdam Southeast District Council. The second of the SMS vote scoring event will take place on Saturday, 24th October, between 19.00 - 21.00 hours at the Vrouwen Empowement Centrum, Bijlmerdreef 1031, 1103 TV Amsterdam Southeast. There will be two sessions. One on Etiquette and the other on Health Matters. The etiquette session will take the contestants through tips on courtesy. The topics for the health matters session are; 1. Drug Abuse and Alcoholism - Consequesnces. 2. Challenges of the HIV/AIDS menace and Teenage Pregnancy. The speakers will be; 1. drs. Justice Laryea of Ananse Pharmacy, Amsterdam (Drug Abuse and Alcoholism). 2. Barimah Asamoah Kofi IV of the GGD Amsterdam (Teenage Pregnancy + HIV/AIDS). 3. Ms. Iris Shiripinda of the SOAAIDS, The Netherlands (The Youth and STIs - Sexually Transmitted Infections). |
